Quintuplet Apochromat, flat field and 4" focuser.

With this Quintuplet Apochromat it succeeds wonderfully. A triplet lens with ED glass, an integrated flattner and a 4" focuser are the three strengths for successful astrophotos.

Why this optic shows more detail
Put an end to images without contrast. The Apochromat shows what is really possible: pure color and high contrast observations and astrophotos. The reason is a sophisticated optical design with premium ED glass for a crystal clear image. Compared to most mirror systems, the better defined optics allow you to see more and finer details in planetary observations, for example. The lens elements have been provided with an effective muli-coating against reflections on all surfaces. Look forward to observations and images that will be remembered.



Large gear eyepiece focuser with ball bearings

Full-frame fans need space: this is exactly what the eyepiece focuser in gear design offers. Wonderfully complementing this premium optic, it gives you great illumination and images without shadowing. The hybrid technology of Crayford and gear wheel makes it very smooth on the one hand and incredibly powerful on the other. A 1:10 reduction for finest corrections completes this focuser. Exactly these features are appreciated by astrophotographers all over the world.

360° rotation for the perfect image detail
Object found and focused, but misaligned? At night, you should save yourself the trouble of starting all over again and aligning an elongated object to fit the sensor. The 360° rotatable focuser makes this task easy, as it is done in seconds.

A firm connection
Nothing will ever slip here again: the integrated thread offers you the possibility to firmly connect your accessories. For example, take your full-frame optimized off-axis guider and screw it in place - just as if it were a permanent part of your new telescope.



CNC tube for one of the best optics
The tube of the Omegon Apo consists of a CNC machined metal construction with a sophisticated aperture system against reflections. The entire tube has been lined with a velvet-like black fabric.

Extend and fix the dew cap
The Apo's dew cap is extendable and fixable with a screw. It can be retracted for transport.
