Why these triplet optics show more details
Put an end to images without contrast. The triplet apochromat shows what is really possible: pure color and high contrast observations and astrophotos. The reason is a sophisticated triple-lens design with the premium OHARA FPL-53 glass for a crystal clear image. Compared to most mirror systems, you will see more and finer details in planetary observations, for example, due to the better defined optics. The lens elements have been provided with an effective multi-coating against reflections on all surfaces. Look forward to observations and images that will be remembered.

2.5" gear-driven focuser with ball bearings
Almost a true space miracle, the 2.5" gear focuser is large enough, no shadowing occurs. An ingenious hybrid technology of Crayford and gear makes it especially powerful and suitable for accessories up to 4kg. In addition, it can be focused silky smooth via the ball bearings, so you can easily find the perfect focus. A 1:10 reduction for finest corrections completes this focuser. These are exactly the features that astrophotographers around the world appreciate.

360° rotation for the perfect image focus
Object found and focused, but misaligned? At night, you should save yourself the trouble of starting all over again and aligning an elongated object to fit the sensor. The 360° rotatable focuser makes this task easy, as it is done in seconds.

2" and M63 connection
The focuser has a standard 2" connection with a reduction to 1.25". This allows you to connect all accessories from our range, such as eyepieces and adapters. Another M63 thread serves you for your full format camera or a FieldFlattner. You get a completely illuminated and flat field of view.

Carbon tube
The noble black carbon tube saves you valuable weight. This not only simplifies the transport, but also relieves the mount. At the same time, the thermal expansion coefficient of carbon fiber is many times smaller than that of aluminum or steel. The focus is thus much more stable against temperature fluctuations.
