Omni127OTA Celestron OMNI SC 127 / 1250mm Schmidt Cassegrain OTA

Celestron OMNI Schmidt Cassegrain 127 / 1250mm - tube / optics / prism rail / viewfinder

- for those who already have a mount.

Celestron Omni127OTA 127 / 1250mm OTA

The well-known Celestron C5 Schmidt Cassegrain is a very powerful and above all compact device. The imaging quality of this device can be compared to good Maksutov's same aperture.

The OMNI XLT 127 is particularly suitable for star friends who value a very compact device. With only 28cm length and about 2.9kg dead weight of the tube can be taken in each baggage baggage.
The light intensity along with the focal length make it an "all-rounder" that makes deep sky objects equally accessible when traveling (and at home of course), as well as detail observations with higher magnification of the objects of our solar system. Moon and planets offer a wealth of detail and the sunspots are ALWAYS WITH PERFECT FILTERS (!!) a splendor. NATURALLY NEVER OBSERVE THE SUN WITHOUT PROTECTION FILTER!

As a rule, we do not have such good visibility conditions in our region - the ambient light (light pollution) and weather-related losses are the rule. Living in a city and watching from "balcony" is especially difficult. In the case of this device, the problems of so-called "seeing" are not so apparent due to the opening. A larger opening would have more difficulty delivering a calm picture. What use is more power through more opening, if the image blurs and the instrument can not show this performance? - Have I brought you to an important consideration? Then: Under the topic "advantages-disadvantages" - worth knowing for beginners and advanced -
on our home page smart, there is a lot of explanation!

This telescope lets you have a lot of success even under unfavorable conditions! A well-defined picture will bring you "closer to heaven". The best telescope is always where you look through the most and that gives you as often as possible beautiful experiences!

A very suitable device for school astronomy. Cost-effective, it covers the different observation areas with a very good quality of the image and a stable alignment optics.
The insensitive optics brings a straightforward observation with it.

Low magnification eyepieces for deep sky objects (galaxies, nebulae, star clusters) and eyepieces for planet / moon details (with shorter focal length and therefore higher magnification power), possibly also with a Barlow lens in good visibility conditions, cover the entire area from our observations.

With a tracked mount, the steps to astrophotography are not difficult to implement. Especially with the moon and the planets you can easily and easily achieve good results with this device.
Programs for editing the images are available as freeware - please let us advise you.

The most important features:

high optical quality incl. Celestron XLT coating
multivergütete Schmidt corrector plate
Diffraction-limited image
Practical SC connection with reduction to 1.25 "

Celestron's XLT coating offers a brighter image and more contrast than simple, normal compensation. Every OMNI device is delivered with this compensation.
