This microscope is checked by us before delivery and adjusted if necessary. The eyepieces and lenses are visually inspected and cleaned from dust and dirt. The height adjustment (focusing), as well as the cross table and all other mechanical parts are inspected and adjusted for ease of movement. The lighting and the power supply are also inspected.

The SZM Series - Advanced Microscopes for Teachers, Mid-range Microscopes for Professionals

The stereomicroscopes of the SZM series are microscopes that have been specially developed for students, as well as for laboratory and industrial applications. The optical and mechanical qualities and the outstanding price / performance ratio put the microscopes of the SZM series at the top of this very popular product category.

Because all four models of the SZM series feature the binocular or trinocular vision and zoom lenses, they are always used when such professional microscopes are needed at reasonable prices.
The variety of accessories provide a rich selection of possible constellations that greatly enhance the flexibility of the observer.

All devices have either 45 ° oblique binocular or trinocular heads that can be rotated through 360 °. For comfortable observations the eye distance is adjustable between 51 and 75 mm and for spectacle wearers diopter adjustment at the EWF 10x / 20mm spectacle wearer eyepieces is possible at any time.

In combination with the parfocal, achromatic zoom lens (magnification between 0.7x and 4.5x adjustable), which has a zoom factor of 6.428: 1, all magnifications between 7x and 45x are possible.

Focusing is easily adjustable with the aid of a rack system and a pair of double-sided buttons. The working distance is 100mm.

The models of the SZM series differ only in terms of insight, microscope stand and lighting.

The SZM-1

The lighting of the SZM-1 is provided by a separately controllable illumination system for reflected light and transmitted light. This consists of two 12V / 15W halogen bulbs. It requires a power supply of 230V / 50Hz. The model is also equipped with a black and white stage plate, and a frosted frosted glass stage plate. Their preparations can be stored and held on them by means of specimen clips.
