Orion SkyQuest XX14i IntelliScope - 356mm f / 4,6 Truss Dobson with dig. partial circles

More than 14,000 objects in the database - no more searching necessary - you are guided to the objects - the movement is taken over digital Teilkreise '
The tube can be dismantled for easier transport - and still very stable in adjustment

The Orion SkyQuest XX14i Intelli Scope is a powerful high-tech Dobson for star friends who value maximum opening, easy object search through digital pitch circles and yet on good transport.

The advantages of the XX14i:

- powerful 14 "(356mm) opening for enough light
- diffraction-limited parabolic optics for a high sharpness
- forced reflectivity of the main and the secondary mirror of 94%
- The telescope can still be transported comfortably in a normal car
- Stable and low vibration Rockerbox above normal Chinese standard
- digital subcircuits and astro computers save time-consuming search - simply go to the object
- Thousands of objects already in the memory available
- particularly rigid grid construction with solid brackets - assembly / disassembly without tools
- good adjustment stability
- 2 "Crayford extract with 1:10 micro reduction

14 "opening offers unforgettable observation experiences under a good starry sky, and the intensified mirroring of the main and secondary mirrors makes the picture even brighter: galaxies already show clear structures, and often the contrasty image is more reminiscent of an astrophoto.

Rockerbox with digital pitch circles of the XX14i

The Rockerbox of the XX14i is built very stable and has lateral stiffeners. This suppresses wobbling and provides good viewing comfort even at high magnifications.

The digital subcircles allow intensive observation where no time is spent on time-consuming searching. Enter the object and the astro computer guides you purposefully to the object, you just need to pan the dobson. This process is silent and saves energy, because loud loud servomotors are dispensed with.

Crayford extract of the XX14i

The high-quality 2 "Crayford pullout allows a precise focus without tilting. The 1:10 micro reduction offers a modern comfort. Also less experienced observers get such a good sharpness without any problems.

Main mirror cell of the XX14i

The main mirror mount of the XX14i is a modern computer-optimized cell with solid 9-point storage. The built-in fan speeds up the cooling process of the main mirror. Of course, main and secondary mirrors are fully adjustable.

It's so easy with the attached Astro computer:

Orion SkyQuestt XX12 with Digital Partial Circuits - Astro Computer Working with the Intelli Scope Astro Computer is easy:

- Simply plug the computer into the socket and it is already calibrated, you do not need to make any extra settings.
- Simply search for an object from the database, press Enter and the computer will guide you to the object via simple arrows. One arrow is for the height and another for the horizontal adjustment.

- Now you clearly see on the display that you have arrived, look through the telescope (with low magnification) and you will already see the target object.

On the picture you can see the simple and clear operation. The keys are illuminated and the display is very clear. On the right side of the display you will see the arrow keys that lead you to the object and also show you the distance.

Object Database

The object database contains over 14,000 objects:
- 837 stars incl. Double stars and variable stars
- 8 planets
- 101 messier objects
- 7840 NGC objects
- 5386 IC objects
- 99 objects that you can define yourself

This product was one of the "Hot Products of Sky and Telescope 2004". It allows you to make real observational results in no time. Concentrate on the essentials, on the observation of thousands of objects beyond the solar system.

Usually, years of continuous observation are required to get you started to allow access to many faint objects. The Astro Computer allows you this success in a short time.
