Askar not only supplies outstanding optics but also photographic filters in various designs.
Although relatively new to the market, these filters are already considered to be in the upper quality segment.
I was able to compare them with well-known manufacturers, and the Askar filters were superior in almost every area.
The 3nm filter series is certainly not cheap, but it's worth every cent. Until recently, there were very few suppliers of 3nm filters, and they were also considerably more expensive.
The filters deliver, as expected, very good contrast and no halos, even around bright stars, which makes image processing all the easier.
Only a gradient was visible in the OIII stack, which was due to the moon (85%). This was easily removed in Pixinsight.
The color scheme is purely a matter of taste and can, of course, be customized depending on the processing and color weighting.
You will find the individual stacks of the respective filters below.
The frames were stacked in APP (Astropixel Processor). The final image was created with Pixinsight.
Even with a relatively short exposure time per filter, details are clearly visible, in my opinion.
With significantly longer exposure time, the result should, of course, show considerably more detail.
