The primary mirror and the meniscus lens with the secondary mirror are attached to the tube with three screws. The screw holes have sufficient oversize, allowing the two sides to be precisely aligned. The screws only need to be loosened slightly.

I remove the front unit with the meniscus lens and place the tube on a flat mirror. The primary mirror is adjusted using a laser in the focuser.
