Star Adventurer Mini (SAM) with WLAN individually and in set now available!
The new Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini WiFi (SAM) is a compact, high-precision camera tracking platform. It is ideal for long-exposure astrophotos as well as time-lapse photography during the day and at night.

SAM is so compact that it really fits in any backpack or camera bag. This makes him an ideal companion for every trip, even to the most remote regions.

SAM is equipped with Wi-Fi and is controlled via this smartphone as a freeware for Android and iOS available Star Adventurer Mini App. SAM is very easy to set up and operate in all modes.

SAM can also be used with larger camera - lens combinations, but is ideal and very easy to use for wide - field astrophotography with standard lenses of 55mm focal length or shorter. For this only a coarse pole alignment is needed and also not experienced amateur astrophotographers come to nice results.

The Star Adventurer Mini WLAN can be easily mounted on a standard tripod with 1/4 "or 3/8" mounting screw. The pole height can be adjusted with the swivel head / ball head of your stand or, more precisely and easily, with the optional pile height cradle. To fix a camera on the Star Adventurer, a ball head or the optional dovetail L-mount is required, on which a counterweight with a rod can optionally be attached.

1) The physical payload is only 3kg
2) the PE of the SAM is larger than that of the SA. The SAM is not intended for DSLR cameras with long focal lengths or focal lengths over 100mm.
3) As less battery space is available, the operating time of the SAM is limited to only 24 hours, while the SA can be operated for up to 72 hours.
