The new Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini WLAN (SAM) is a compact and high-precision tracking platform for cameras with standard and smaller telephoto lenses. It is ideal for long-exposure Astrophotos as well as time-lapse photography during the day and at night.

SAM is so compact that it fits in any backpack or camera bag. This makes him an ideal companion for every trip - even to the most remote regions.

SAM is equipped with Wi-Fi and is controlled by the smartphone as a freeware for Android and iOS available Star Adventurer Mini App. The installation is very easy and you can operate the device in all possible settings.

SAM can be used with larger camera - lens combinations, but is ideal and very easy to use for wide field astrophotography with standard lenses of 55mm focal length or shorter. For this only a coarse pole alignment is needed and also not experienced amateur astrophotographers come to nice results.

The Star Adventurer Mini WLAN can be mounted on a standard tripod with 1/4 "or 3/8" mounting screw. The pole height can be adjusted with the swivel head / ball head of your stand. More precise and easier for photography with telephoto lenses is the optional pole height cradle. To attach a camera to the Star Adventurer requires a ball head or the optional dovetail L-mount. At this a counterweight can be fixed with rod (optional and recommended for shooting with a telephoto lens).

1) Physical load only 3kg
2) The PE of the SAM is larger than that of the SA. The SAM is not intended for DSLR cameras with long focal lengths or focal lengths over 100mm.
3) As less battery space is available, the operating time of the SAM is limited to only 24 hours, while the SA can be operated for up to 72 hours.
