 TS-Optics 71SDQ - 71 mm f / 6.3 Quadruplet Apo with field leveling

The apochromatic refractor from the TS Quadruplet series is an ideal travel apochromat for astrophotographers and observers
♦ 71 mm aperture / 450 mm focal length / aperture ratio 1: 6.3

♦ 4-element quadruplet design with 44 mm fully corrected and illuminated image circle - also for full-frame cameras

♦ All lenses are firmly installed in the tube at an optimal distance.

♦ Pure color image thanks to high quality FPL53 triplet lens with air gap

♦ Sturdy 2.5 "rack extension with 2" plug connection and the possibility of screwing using the M63x1 thread - one of the best extensions in its class

♦ Generous working distance of 115 mm from the 2 "receptacle - suitable for all cameras and even for visual observation

♦ Easy camera adaptation via optional M48 photo adapter # M63i-M48a

♦ Retractable dew cap for even better transport

♦ CNC pipe clamps, Vixen / EQ5-level prism rail and dust caps are included

TS-Optics 71 mm f / 6.3 quadruplet travel apo
The TS71SDQ is compact and offers a large corrected field of view for astrophotography. The Apochromat is an interesting alternative to the Takahashi FS-60 or the Pentax 75 SDHF. The telescope is of high quality and ideal for mobile astrophotography. Thanks to the retractable dew cap, the TS-Optics 71SDQ becomes an ideal travel telescope with a construction length of less than 50 cm when the dew cap is retracted. The image in the field and on the axis is perfect and designed for the use of full format sensors. The excellent correction of the color error also allows a usable magnification range of 10x to 200x for observation.

The advantages of the TS71SDQ Quadruplet Astrograph 71 mm f / 6.3

♦ Fully corrected multi-coated triplet lens for color-true imaging on the axis
♦ Fixed built-in field leveling for a correction up to full frame sensors
♦ optimized position of the flattener in the tube - thus also the best possible correction option
♦ Powerful 2.5 "dual speed pull-out for the highest loads - no slipping as with Crayford pull-outs
♦ Camera screw connection possible via the M63x1 thread.
♦ 360 ° rotation of the camera - always the right field section
♦ a real travel apo with an overall length of less than 500 mm with a retracted protective cap
♦ complete with CNC pipe clamps and prism rail with photo tripod connection
♦ with finder shoe - Vixen / Celestron / Skywatcher Level

The pure color optics of the 71 mm TS71SDQ quadruplet astrograph
The triplet lens of the 71 mm Quadruplet uses FPL53 glass for optimal color correction. The star image is free of annoying color fringes or halos, which can result from the correction systems on the pull-out side.

An ED flattener is installed in the tube, which optimally smoothes the image field. Due to the fixed installation, an excellent correction condition is achieved, which can only be achieved with difficulty by attaching a correction lens to the focuser. The panels of the Apos are placed in such a way that illumination of sensors up to a diameter of approx.

The 2.5 "RP extract of the quadruplet astrograph
The pull-out combines the advantages of a conventional rack-and-pinion pull-out with improved storage. A Crayford only achieves full rigidity by pressing the shaft against the extension tube. At high loads, this leads to jerky adjustment. The high-quality rack of the 2.5 "RP pull-out holds the pull-out tube without pressure and allows a butter-soft adjustment even with a load of over 4 kg.

The pull-out has a 2 "and a 1.25" ring clamp. 2 "accessories are clamped via two knurled screws, thus preventing tilting. In addition, 360 ° rotation is also made possible. The pull-out also offers an M63x1 external thread, which also allows the screw connection with the appropriate adapters.
