The precise focuser and the bright optics make the 80 mm ED a good telescope for astrophotography. To correct the image field, we recommend the following correctors - these are also linked in the accessories area.

TSRED80 - focal length reduction and field correction
This corrector is calculated for the 80 mm f / 7 ED and shortens the focal length to 448 mm. The light intensity increases to f / 5.6. With a working distance of 55 mm from the T2 thread connection, you can easily connect all common DSLR cameras and also CCD cameras. We recommend the TSRED80 for DSLR cameras with APS-C sensors and for CCD cameras with sensors up to 30 mm in diameter.

TSED80-F - Flexible correction system with screw connection The focal length and the aperture ratio are not changed. The basis of the TSED80-F is the proven TSFLAT2 corrector. The corrector is screwed to the adapter on the focuser. We recommend the corrector for heavy CCD cameras or DSLR cameras with full frame sensors.
