TS-Optics PHOTOLINE 152mm f / 8 triplet APO refractor
With the PHOTOLINE APO series, Teleskop-Service relies on uncompromising optical and mechanical quality. This 152mm f / 8 APO is equipped with one of the best lenses in its class. The triplet lens offers a true-to-color image up to the highest magnification range thanks to two APO elements (FK61 and LANTHAN). The lens is stored in a temperature-compensated version. The generously dimensioned 3.7 "extension with micro reduction and built-in 50mm extension allows the adaptation of all common correctors and reducers for astrophotography.

Areas of application for the PHOTOLINE 8 "f / 8 Apo:
This Apo is a particularly versatile telescope with very good performance in every discipline, such as:

♦ Astrophotography: The color-pure image of the triplet lens enables clear and fine stars without blue borders. Even bright stars are clearly defined. The 3.7 "TS-Optics RPA focuser allows you to adapt all common correctors and reducers via the connection thread and thus also use astro cameras with very large sensors.

♦ Observation: The moderate aperture ratio of f / 8 offers all possibilities of astronomical observation. With 2 "long focal length 2" eyepieces, for example, you can achieve a true field of view of about 2.5 ° in the sky, that is about 5x the full moon next to each other, you have a real rich field refractor. Magnify up to about 450 times and enjoy a high-contrast image that only an apochromatic refractor produces. This turns the apo into a planetary telescope, usually only the seeing of the earth's atmosphere limits the resolution.

The lens of the PHOTOLINE 152mm f / 8 Triplet APO:
Our goal is to offer a real alternative to the well-known FPL-53 triplet lenses with this Apo. The color correction is significantly better than is possible with 2-element APO and ED lenses. We achieved this goal with this lens. The combination of the ED glasses FK-61 and lanthanum with a third partner glass enables the color error to be reduced to a minimum. Even demanding amateur astronomers will be amazed by the clear and high-contrast image. The multi-coated lens is stored in a temperature-compensated version.

The 3.7 "RPA focuser
A highlight of the telescope is certainly the modern "rack-and-pinion" pull-out with pinion adjustment. The quality of this extract is close to the famous Feather Touch extracts from Starlight. The large extension also enables the use of full-format and large-format cameras without shading, of course with the appropriate correctors.
