The Apo is an excellent telescope for astrophotography. The refractor provides very good illumination, even for large sensors. The Apo offers the best performance with visual observation. Even at 250X, the image remains free from color errors.

 The PHOTOLINE triplet APO of telescope service offers the star friends a picture, which is so far only used by much more expensive apochromats, such as LZOS. The color defect could be pressed by the cleanly manufactured lens to a no more disturbing minimum. The correction is significantly better than that of comparable ED devices.

The lens is fully adjustable. The multi-balanced lenses are separated by air gap. We do not know any other refractor lens of similar aperture in this price class with similar performance.


Astrophotography with the TS 102mm PHOTOLINE APO:

The 3 "Photoline 0.79x Reducer can be attached directly to the M68 screw thread of the eyepiece extension, which is screwed in. The Reducer improves the opening ratio of the f7 Apos to light f5.5.


The PHOTOLINE 2.5 "RPA tooth drive eyepiece extractor

The TS 2.5 "Rack And Pinion eyepiece is similar to the well-known Starlight Feather Touch FTF2525. The 2.5" RPA offers almost comparable quality. The extension holds camera-side accessories up to about 5kg without causing tipping. The illumination of the pull-out is sufficient for full-format sensors.
