The 100mm f / 5.8 quadruplet from the TS Imaging Star line was developed by TeleskopService for the demanding astrophotograph and observer. The image is clear by the FPL-53 lens with air gap free from color flaws and provides excellent contrast. Thanks to the built-in corrector, the field is perfectly leveled. You will have a perfect star map in the field right from the start, without a tedious search for correctors and the correct distance.

Although the APO has been optimized for astrophotography, it will also provide a very good visual performance. The stars are knackscharf and are mapped without color errors. The picture remains up to 300 times sharp and contrast-rich.

A first-class APO for astrophotography:

Our goal was to achieve an uncompromising imaging quality on the AND axis in the field without additional flatteners or correctors. The corrector must be installed fixed and, of course, at the optimum distance from the lens. This is hardly achieved by an optional flattener. In addition, the apo must be mechanically solid and easily adjustable. This is done with Flatfield APO.

The eyepiece output must be stable and designed especially for heavy cameras. The toothed drive can also be used for heavy accessories. Clamping is ensured by blocking the adjustment.

The lens of the 100mm f / 5.8 Imaging Star quadruplet:

The APO has a classic APO lens with air gap. The lens is adjustable. The mount is temperature-compensated, even low temperatures do not change the star image. The main glass is FPL53 from Ohara - Japan. Each glass air surface has the best possible remuneration of the manufacturer.

The 3 "CNC eyepiece output of the 100mm f / 5.8 quadruplet:

The 3 "CNC eyepiece extractor is modeled on the Starlight Feather Touch FTF3035 and is clearly superior to the conventional Crayford eyepieces.The power transmission is by means of an oblique toothed drive rod and is decoupled from the actual bearing of the pull-out tube to achieve a higher stiffness even at maximum load.
