The 3-lined 90mm FPL53 Apo was further developed by TS. He uses the tried and tested triplet lens and the first-class CNC eyepiece extractor with tooth and drive according to the Starlight Feather Touch principle. The tube has two unscrewable segments so that three focus positions can be achieved behind the pull-out.

The result is a travel apo with a color-pure image with optimal spherical correction. The apo provides better illumination than almost any other refractor of this aperture. You can achieve a facial field up to 5 ° or up to about 300 times high magnification, without breaking into sharpness.

The lens of the TS 90/600 Triplet Apo:

The triplet lens offers a color-pure image, it fulfills the criteria of a vollapos. The objective of the APO also offers the best possible spherical correction and is not in our experience according to the Russian lenses. The Apo element comes from O-Hara (Japan). The multi-compensated triplet lens is in an adjustable temperature-compensated mount and is of course with air gap.

The result is a color-pure image even at maximum magnification. Even high-resolution astrophotos do not show any disturbing color fringing around the stars.

The photographic use - a telescope ... two focal lengths for photography!

Focal length 450mm / aperture ratio F4.9 with RICCARDI Reducer ... The flexible focus position thanks to the modular tube allows the use of the excellent 0.75x Riccardi Reducer. The focal length is reduced to 450mm and the light intensity is increased to F4.9. Sensors up to 42mm diameter are fully illuminated.

The reducer is screwed directly to the M63 thread of the eyepiece extension. Both tube segments are unscrewed. From the M63x1 internal thread on the camera side to the camera sensor, the optimum distance is 76.2mm.


Focal length 500mm / aperture ratio F6 with 2.5 "full-color flattener ... With the TS 2,5" Vollformat Flattener you achieve a 100% illumination even with full-format sensors. The cheaper TS 2 "Flattener is very suitable for sensors up to 30mm diameter.

To adapt the TSFlat2,5 to the extension, the adapter M63a-Flat25 is required. A tube segment is unscrewed. From the M69 female thread on the camera side to the camera sensor, the optimum distance is 97mm.


The 2.5 "photographic eyepiece extract:

The 2.5 "CNC pull-out is optimized for photography and can withstand loads up to 4 kg The RedLucer and Flattener can be directly screwed in via the M63 connection thread, which is based on the 2.5" Feather Touch from Starlight. The pull-out tube is more stiff than with comparable Crayford pull-outs.
