Tip for making a microfocuser work:

If a button-operated microfocuser, microfocuser, or 1:10 reduction gear on the focuser doesn't run smoothly and you can feel the balls when turning, the lock nut is probably too tight or loose.

To do this, remove the microfocuser from the axis and carefully tighten the nut.
