Vixen GPD2 mount - parallactic mount - up to 14kg

Vixen GP-D2 mount - parallactic mount - made in Japan - 3991
Stable parallactic mount for all applications

Vixen GPD2 mount - parallactic mount - up to 14kg
The legend - ultra-stable yet mobile (without tripod)

GP-DX - this product name has always stood for the optimum combination of uncompromising stability, the highest possible precision and unrestricted mobility. Vixen's probably most successful series of mountings started with the SP-DX many years ago. Vixen has made full use of the experience in mount construction and set a standard again with the GPD2.

The results of countless successful astrophotographers speak a clear language - no wonder, because they are made possible by the excellent manufacturing quality of brass worms and worm wheels. Also, the vibration behavior of the GPD2 mount is exemplary, it also allows hours of exposure with long focal length 200mm reflectors. Despite its excellent mechanical properties, the GPD2 is still very portable.

The standard illuminated Polsucherfernrohr supports an exact parallactic alignment in a jiffy.
The extensive range of accessories offers e.g. 1- or 2-axis controllers, aluminum tripod, cast steel column and adaptation options for a wide range of telescope systems.

The carrying capacity:

The GP-D2 also carries photographic refractors to 6 "aperture, Schmidt Cassegrains to 9.5" aperture (some star friends even work with a C-11 - but you should use a more massive tripod) and Newtons up to 10 "in lightweight construction (TS Newton's of Orion).

The mount can be loaded with devices up to approx. 14kg. For photographic use you should max. Go 10kg of instrument charge.
