GoTo system for telescopes up to max. about 16 kg

The SXP mount has stepper motors built in with a very fast response. The micro-step control ensures a smooth and very precise run.

The R.A. and DEC wheels have 180 teeth and 72 mm diameter. High precision NC machined brass wheels and worm gears have been developed for highly accurate tracking.

The R.A. and DEC axles are made of sturdy carbon steel. The axles of the SXP mount have 15 ball bearings. This provides an extremely smooth tracking and a smooth running on GoTo.

Due to the unique design of the Sphinx mount the observer needs fewer counterweights. The mount is still very portable despite high load capacity and stability.

The STAR BOOK TEN control is the new generation of hand controls with a high-resolution monitor and a high level of user-friendliness.

To make the tracking even more accurate, the periodic error can be saved. This is also stored after switching off the mount.

Freely selectable method for swiveling the telescope near the meridian.
