New concept for more carrying capacity with less weight

iOptron has realized a new mounting concept and has thus further improved the principle of "mounting German design". The result is remarkable. With a weight of only 12.3 kg (axbox), the CEM60 telescopes can carry up to 27 kg dead weight. The CEM60 can also be used for heavy telescopes, such as telescopes. The TS 12 "TRUSS RC Astrograph, the mount is much more compact and squat than the classic design, allowing better leverage and better carrying power.

An additional advantage is the pole height adjustment, which can be made significantly more massive and wider. As with the classic design, you can create a 100% balance with the counterweight and by moving the telescope in the holder. Powerful control

The CEM60 is equipped with the sophisticated GOTONOVA GoTo control. The database comprises 359,000 objects. The hand controller is equipped with a large eight-line LCD screen for a better overview. The controls are innovative and easy to use by anyone after a short time. Of course, the mount and control offers all possibilities for astrophotography.
