New concept for more carrying capacity with less weight
iOptron has realized a new mounting concept, thus further improving the principle of "mounting German design". The result is remarkable. With a weight of only 12.3 kg (axbox), the CEM60 telescopes can carry up to 27 kg dead weight.

The CEM60 can also be used to track heavy telescopes up to a 12 "opening.The mount is much more compact and squat than the classic design, allowing for better leverage and better carrying capacity.

An additional advantage is the pile height adjustment

It is much more massive and wider. As with the classic design, you can create a 100% balance with the counterweight and by moving the telescope in the bracket. Another advantage is the pole finder - regardless of the telescope position, you can always look through it, because the declination axis does not pass through.

The CEM60 is equipped with the advanced GOTONOVA GoTo control. The database comprises 359,000 objects. The hand controller is equipped with a large eight-line LCD screen for a better overview.
