BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera & Guider 1.25 "
Enter the world of astrophotography now. With the new BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky and Planetary Camera with ST4 autoguider function from premium manufacturer ToupTek.

This is really new: Equipped with the new highly sensitive SONY IMX290 CMOS color sensor, this camera delivers amazing results thanks to extremely short exposure times even with simple telescope equipment. In addition, this ultra-modern camera can also be used as an autoguider, e.g. actively track the main recording device with SLR or CCD astro camera. An all-round camera that not only delivers super-sharp planetary shots, but also works great for shooting faint deep sky celestial objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.

The secret of high photosensitivity is the new back-illuminated CMOS sensor from SONY. This increases the quantum efficiency to up to 77% at 533nm, which means an extremely high light output and thus delivers particularly bright and high-contrast photos. In addition, the extra low noise level of this new chip generation from SONY ensures an extraordinary high brilliance. Due to the high native pixel resolution of 1936x1096 together with suitable telescopes very nice overview shots of the moon, but also detailed planetary shots possible.

The included ToupSky professional software not only provides the necessary basic functions for image and video recording, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and to set up the Guider. Functions such as Live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark imaging, stacking, timelapse shooting and much more can be configured individually. Especially the very sophisticated software makes the entry into the astrophotography really easy. With the automatic settings, you can produce absolutely presentable results without much prior knowledge. If you want, the automatic settings simply turns off and gradually ventures to the individual professional settings.

Connect the camera directly to the ST4 port of your telescope mount and you have a fully automated tracking control. Thus long-term exposures of several minutes are possible without the stars producing unwanted traces due to the constant velocity variations of a telescope mount. An appropriate ST-4 connection cable will even join the camera.
Because of the high sensitivity of the camera, you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times.

Here is a small review:
On the last occasion (clear sky), I wanted to know if a 2.9 micron pixel size camera could resolve nice details on the smaller smaller telescopes with short focal length. That's why I did not use my telescopes, which I normally use for lunar and planetary photography, but a cheap one. Bresser) Newton f / 5 (150/750 mm). A 2.5-fold Barlow lens, which I usually use anyway, was also used. I am very satisfied with the result and can say once again: You do not have to invest huge sums of money to take nice pictures.
See moon picture.
