The Saddle Powerbox has similar features to the Pocket Powerbox Advance and can be attached directly to the NYX-101 mount or other mounts on the market.

4 x 12V barrel sockets
A powerful MOSFET transistor supplies your valuable devices with "electric juice". It supplies power to 4 outputs. Can turn on/off all 12V outputs (not individually).

This single channel can deliver up to 10 amps of power to all ports. The power is divided between the 4 x 12 V connections.

Built-in sensors
A precise voltmeter measures and displays the input voltage in real time. If the input voltage is more than 14.5V, the power will be cut off immediately to protect your devices.

An ammeter behind the DC input shows the total current. This allows you to easily monitor the power consumption of your devices in detail and overall. The power box is designed for an output current of up to 10 amps. Please note that standard garden astrophotography equipment requires 5-7 amps.

Temperature and relative humidity sensors measure and report your current ambient values.
 
2 x outputs for dew protection heaters
With two anti-dew heater outputs, you can precisely control the performance of your heaters. The Auto-Dew function can automatically control the intensity of the heaters by consulting the built-in temperature and humidity sensor. A pair of adapter cables from 5.5/2.1 barrel plug output to RCA are included in the package.

An active USB3 hub on the back of the device offers:

SuperSpeed ​​hubs work in parallel with the USB 2.0 controller, so SuperSpeed ​​5Gbps data transfers are not affected by slower USB 2.0 traffic.

USB3 Port 1 offers a current of up to 3 amps. You can connect any device that requires 5V. For example, a Raspberry PI 3/4 or an Intel Compute Stick M3/M5 can be powered via this special port.

Optional pucks for third-party mounts
The Saddle Powerbox can be attached directly to the NYX-101 mount. For other types of mounts, an additional puck is required. The Saddle Powerbox currently supports the following mounts:
The puck "PEG-PUCK-AM5" can be used to attach the Saddle Powerbox to the ZWO-AM5 mount.
The puck "PEG-PUCK-EQ6R" can be used to mount the Saddle Powerbox on the Skywatcher NEQ6 and EQ6-R mounts.
The puck "PEG-PUCK-RST" can be used to attach the Saddle Powerbox to the RST 135 and RST 300 mounts.

Other important features
Independent operation “straight out of the box”
The Saddle Powerbox can work “out of the box” as a standalone device. Simply connect the cables, set up the "Autodew" functionality and every time you start the device it will recall your settings. So if you don't want to connect to the PC every time, you don't have to. It's that simple!

Dual channel PWM outputs
Two PWM (pulse width modulation) outputs are capable of supplying power to your "thirsty" dew protection heaters. No more moisture affecting your instruments and ruining your clear nights. These outputs can be controlled remotely from your laptop using the included software.

Automatic setting of PWM (dew protection heater outputs)
The controller can automatically adjust the heating output by taking into account the dew point value of the ambient sensor. Simply click "Auto" and let the Saddle Powerbox decide whether it is time to turn on and precisely adjust the dew protection heaters.

LED indicators for power and error conditions
The LED can flash in different patterns to warn you of important power problems (e.g. over or under voltage). The light can also be turned off via the software. The LED is very dim, but if you don't like it you can turn it off via software.

Reverse polarity protection
The Saddle Powerbox is equipped with reverse polarity protection. It will definitely save your night if you accidentally connect the main power supply in reverse polarity!

A hardware watchdog
A hardware watchdog resets the device if there is no response from the controller for two seconds for any reason. A useful feature in the unlikely event that the controller freezes - when you have a remote observatory and need to be sure everything is working as expected.

Upgradable firmware
The device is firmware upgradeable to support future features and bug fixes.
 
Support for Losmandy and Vixen Standard
A high-quality, robust CNC aluminum prism clamp houses the electronics of the power box. The saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy dovetail bars.

There are two independent buttons that allow you to attach your telescope to the prism clamp.

The Saddle Powerbox fully supports ASCOM6. Combined with the main Pegasus Astro program acting as a server, you can use Pegasus Astro's current ASCOM drivers to:
Reporting environment settings to supported software (e.g. Sequence Generator Pro / MaximDL) (ASCOM ObservingConditions)
Turn on/off 12V outputs, adjustable output, set dew protection heaters. (ASCOM switches)

INDI
Saddle Powerbox fully supports INDI. Combine them with Stellarmate or any other device that can use INDILib.

Unity Platform
The purpose of the Unity Platform is to provide a robust and modern application that supports all current and future products.

This modern software offers full control over all Pegasus Astro devices. Additionally, a REST JSON API helps third-party software developers interact with their products.

Due to the continuous development of the applications based on customer feedback, many innovative features will be added in the upcoming versions.
