Omegon Camera Easy Autoguiding Set60
This set consists of the Omegon Microspeed Guidescope 60mm and the Omegon Pro Guide 1200 M Mono Guider

Guiding with the Mini-Guidescope: Making astrophotography easier and equipment smaller
This small guidescope performs all the tasks of a "classic" guiding scope - but it is lighter and much easier to use! In the past, people used long and large guiding telescopes to find a guide star. Save yourself the trouble! The sensitivity of modern astro cameras is on your side. You put the Mini-Guidescope like a finder on your telescope.

Or use it as a convenient, large viewfinder to waste less time finding objects during visual observing.

The advantages at a glance:

Mini guide tube for finding objects and guide stars quickly.
Designed for both visual and photographic use
Use any 1.25 inch eyepieces from your collection
Worm gear focuser: fast focusing. Prevents rotation of camera and eyepiece.

What's special about our new Omegon guide tubes?
They have a built-in worm gear focuser with a 10mm shift distance, allowing for extremely precise focus adjustment. The mechanism has a fixed orientation: This means that mounted cameras or eyepieces - and thus the area with your guide stars - are not rotated during focusing.

The sturdy metal housing made of black, anodized aluminum ...

...not only looks solid, but is also very robust. A milled and knurled ring allows uncomplicated and precise fine focus adjustments. It comes with matching tube clamps and a Synta-style mounting plate to make assembly and mounting as easy as possible.

The Omegon Pro GUIDE 1200 astro camera - ideal as a compact autoguider! Additionally, it allows you to get started with astrophotography of the Moon, planets and even deep sky objects!

Planetary photography for beginners: This camera is suitable for the first steps into the fascinating subject of solar system astrophotography. Shooting Jupiter, Saturn or lunar craters allows you to share the experience of nighttime observation with friends and family. Live on-screen observation is also possible.

Deep sky astrophotography: the high sensitivity of this advanced CMOS sensor makes photography of nebulae and galaxies much easier than it was just a few years ago. These faint objects are difficult to expose, but thanks to the sensor's high quantum efficiency and low readout noise, it is possible to image details that cannot be seen with purely visual astronomy.

Autoguiding: Finding a suitable guide star will no longer be a problem! Thanks to the high sensitivity of modern CMOS sensors, even faint stars can be used. The tracking correction with short exposure times and high guiding frequency compensates both coarse and fine tracking errors of your mount. The camera is natively compatible with PHD2 and has an ST4 guide port: the ideal autoguider!

Sophisticated shape: The rugged anodized aluminum housing is shaped like a 1.25" eyepiece and fits any telescope. Thanks to the low weight, there is no additional load on their equipment. The camera has a C- & CS-mount thread as well as (via an adapter) a regular 1.25" filter thread. Small CCTV lenses as well as a gigantic selection of astronomical filters can therefore be connected without any problems.

Transmission: A filter protects the sensor chamber from dust and moisture. The Omegon Pro color cameras are equipped with an infrared blocking filter. CMOS sensors otherwise also measure the incident infrared light and make correct color reproduction in the finished image impossible. In contrast, the Omegon Pro mono cameras have an anti-reflex window, which transmits ultraviolet and infrared light in addition to visible light. So you have complete control over the transmission curve by using additional filters - a basic requirement for advanced photographic or photometric applications.

Convenient capture software: The downloadable Omegon AstroPhotoCapture software provides straightforward and easy-to-learn camera control. The correct camera setting parameters are crucial for successful astrophotography. AstroPhotoCapture gives you full control over all essential parameters - without an overloaded interface. Simple tutorials explain the capture process step by step to crown your first astrophotography night with success. The software is compatible with Windows 8/10/11.

ompatibility: The Omegon Pro cameras can be controlled by a wide range of acquisition software via the common ASCOM and INDI interfaces. Native compatibility with a growing number of popular programs such as PHD2 and N.I.N.A also exists.
