The new Planet Camera and Guiding Camera from ZWO makes you a successful planetary photographer. The high resolution of 1280x960 pixels and the fine 3.75-μm pixels clear the way for sharp images of objects in the solar system. Due to the high light intensity of the sensor you achieve extremely short exposure times, they can virtually "freeze" the air turbulence (Seeing).

Start the videoastronomy with the ASI120MM mini. With 35 frames per second at full resolution, you can produce a beautiful flight over the lunar surface. Or produce ultra-sharp planetary shots in the shortest possible time by using only the most airless pictures from the video.

Autoguiding is made easy with this camera. With only 60 grams of weight, the camera does not load the focuser any more than a 1.25 "eyepiece, and even with small telescopic sights or with off-axis guides, the camera will always find a suitable guide star, allowing dot-shaped stars to be used even with longer exposure times Standard: The high resolution allows you to use a 50 mm viewfinder / Mini Guidescope telescope to track up to 10 "aperture.

With the ST-4 level autoguider interface, you can easily connect the camera to your mount using the autoguider interface. The right cable is included with the camera.

Suitable drivers can be downloaded. The ASI120MM mini is suitable for PHD Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (Freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (chargeable).

The ASI120MM mini as astro camera for star clusters and fog
The fast sensor with 75% QE even puts fog, star clusters and galaxies within your reach. With just a few seconds exposure time, you can image objects that are invisible to the eye through your telescope. A follow-up check is not necessary due to the short exposure times. Only a motor tracking (balance of earth rotation) should be present.

With the ASI120MM mini you can also enter the exciting field of deep-sky photography. The connection to the telescope could not be easier. Simply plug the camera into the 1.25 "receptacle of your telescope, such as an eyepiece, connect the computer, focus, and begin astrophotography.
