TS-Optics 8x56 Porro Prism Binoculars with Bright Image

These binoculars are designed for extreme low light conditions and are therefore also very suitable for astronomy..

For hunting, nature observation in twilight or deep forest as well as astronomy you need a bright image with a lot of contrast. With these binoculars two construction details provide this at once:

A high-quality broadband multi-coating on all glass-air surfaces: It reduces reflections and thus not only ensures fewer ghosting, but also allows more light to pass through the optics into the eye.

A large exit pupil: This is the width of the light beam exiting the binoculars. The higher it is without exceeding the size of the eye pupil, the brighter the image appears. At 56 mm aperture and 8x magnification you get an exit pupil of 7 mm, which is also the usual maximum for the human eye.
 

Additional comfort features:

A pleasant view: Even a bright image is of little use if you can´t see it at a glance, so an eye relief of 24 mm ensures comfortable viewing, even for spectacle wearers. They can also fold down the eyecups and rest the glasses there.

Connection for photo tripods: The 8x magnification and the low weight mean that the lens can still be used easily from the free hand. Especially for astronomy we recommend the use of a photo tripod. At the front end of the central axis the glass has the suitable internal thread. With our tripod adapter (see "recommended accessories") you can connect the TS 8x56 LE to any photo tripod.
