Celestron connection cable for NexStar devices to RS-232
With this connection cable, you can also control your GoTo telescope via a laptop or PC. If it is connected via the connection socket of the hand control box, you can control the telescope via astronomy programs. The cable is connected to the serial port of your computer.You can download the latest version of the NexRemote software free of charge at

You can also use this cable to import software upgrades from handheld control boxes with flash memory.
An adapter from serial to USB (18775, part no. 821035) is required for use with a USB port.
