Equipping your NexStar Evolution or NexStar SE telescope with the tabletop tripod eliminates the need for a full-height tripod and allows you to easily take it with you. This compact and sturdy accessory is half the size and weight of a standard tripod, making it perfect for travel. The flat legs and wide base provide additional stability, while the convenient tabletop makes it easier for some observers (especially children) to reach the eyepiece.

Setup is quick and easy compared to a full-height tripod. Simply place the tabletop tripod on a camping table, bench, or other flat surface. With a footprint of just 44 cm x 41 cm, you can use it almost anywhere. Then, simply open and level the tripod legs, attach the mount and telescope, and observe.

The tabletop tripod features adjustable screws on each leg and a bubble level on the mount plate to ensure your setup is level before attaching the telescope. Just like the standard NexStar SE and NexStar Evolution tripods, the tabletop tripod features three screws on the bottom of the mount plate to securely attach your mount and telescope.
