Omegon Powerbank 10k - Mobile power supply for small GoTo telescopes!

A big advantage of most small azimuthal GoTo mounts is that they are easy to transport. However, mobility is noticeably limited if you have to lug a heavy battery around. These massive energy storage units are often oversized for small telescopes. Until now, the only alternative was to operate the mount using batteries. But then the telescope becomes a real battery guzzler.

The inexpensive and compact Omegon Powerbank 10k protects the environment and your wallet! It is as light as a feather and does not limit your mobility. There is also no need to fiddle around with the battery compartment: the Powerbank 10k only needs to be plugged into the 12V input of the mount.

The power bank contains a Li-ion battery with a capacity (native, @3.7V) of 10,000 mAh. This corresponds to 37Wh, or 3Ah at 12V. A small mount can be operated for about 4-6 hours.

Built-in protection functions against short circuits, overcharging, deep discharge and overload protect not only the power bank itself, but also the connected telescope.

The 12V plug (5.5x2.1 center-positive) fits most mounts. Please note: MEADE mounts unfortunately require a different plug (5.5x2.5). The Omegon Powerbank 10k can be used for small azimuthal GoTo mounts. Among others for:
