V-(Vixen)-level prism rail - length 530 mm
The prism rail enables telescopes to be attached to mounts with Vixen-level quick coupling. The rail fits, among others:

♦ Skywatcher: EQ3, EQ5, HEQ5, AZ-EQ5
♦ Celestron: Advanced VX
♦ Bresser Messier EXOS
♦ and many more mounts

The prism rail can also be used to attach accessories to the telescope. It can be mounted piggyback on tube clamps or attached directly to tubes. Any accessories such as a saddle-mounted camera mount or a guide scope can then be attached using a Vixen-level prism clamp.

Features of the TSPSV530 prism rail:

♦ The prism rail is made of aluminum profile. This design means that the weight can be reduced to around 60% compared to a full-profile rail, with comparable stability, low vibration and rigidity.

♦ The prism rail has a support for flat surfaces, such as the lower edge of tube clamps. The width is 70 mm - more than most prism rails offer. In addition, the rail has different radii for telescopes with an opening of 6" to 11". The rail can therefore be mounted directly on tubes and sits firmly on them.

♦ The prism rail is suitable for directly mounting Celestron telescopes (C8, C9.25, C11 and the EHD-800, EHD-925, EHD-1100) and Meade telescopes (8" SC and 8" ACF - and with minor adaptations 10" SC and 10" ACF). Matching holes are available. The matching screws are even included for Celestron.

♦ Holes and internal threads for almost all adaptations are available. In addition to the holes for Celestron and Meade SCs, you can attach almost all adaptations to the rail using long holes and 1/4" internal threads.

The TSPSV530 prism rail as a basis for accessories on the telescope
Astrophotographers in particular like to attach accessories such as small guide scopes, barrel weight sets or even saddle-mounted camera mounts to the telescope. Simply mount the lightweight prism rail firmly on the telescope and you can easily attach accessories using a suitable prism clamp. Suitable clamps are linked in the accessories section.
