TS Optics Premium Dovetail Clamp for Heavy Telescopes
Securely mount your telescope using this quick-release clamp from Teleskop-Service. This clamp is also excellent for constructing dual-mounting setups where high load capacity is required. The surface-area clamping mechanism and dual locking screws ensure high clamping force while protecting your equipment—preventing unsightly pressure marks.

Secure and Precise Clamping for Your Telescope
Whether you are mounting a telescope from Vixen, Skywatcher, Orion, or Teleskop-Service, simply attach a GP dovetail bar to the telescope (see accessory recommendations). Most telescopes even come with this GP bar included. The bar is simply clamped and secured using the locking screws on the TS dovetail clamp. You can also slide the telescope within the clamp to achieve even better balance.

The length of the dovetail clamp also helps suppress vibrations. The clamp's wall thickness is designed to withstand heavy loads; even at its thinnest point, the clamp is 18 mm thick.

You can mount the dovetail clamp itself onto a telescope mount, a counterweight shaft, or another dovetail bar—allowing you, for example, to build a dual-mounting system.

Despite the solid... Clamping design prevents unsightly marks
Two generously sized contact surfaces press the dovetail bar against the opposite side of the clamp. Pressure is distributed across a wide 62 mm area rather than concentrating on a single point, which enhances load-bearing capacity and reliably prevents unsightly pressure marks.

Highly versatile thanks to 9 countersunk mounting holes

Nine mounting holes are available for attaching the dovetail clamp using M6 or 1/4" screws: seven standard holes and two slots. Full functionality—especially the clamping mechanism—is maintained, and the locking knob remains easy to operate.
