ZWO Smart Telescopes are equipped with a compact altazimuth mount. However, the telescopes can also be operated in equatorial mode. For this, the telescopes must be tilted so that the altazimuth axis is parallel to the Earth's axis of rotation. This sounds complicated, but it is very easy to achieve with this accessory and the app. The advantage: You can use longer exposure times with your Seestar telescope and thus capture even fainter objects.

The Seestar TH10 fluid head was specifically designed for use with Seestar Smart Telescopes in equatorial mode. It is also compatible with most DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, video cameras, and more.

The Seestar TH10 tripod head features a robust, all-metal construction and is compatible with most tripods and accessories on the market. It comes with a quick-release plate that accepts both 3/8" and 1/4" screws, allowing for easy setup with a wide variety of equipment.

Weighing just 411 g, this tripod head can support a substantial load of 5 kg.

Note: When using the Seestar S50 in equatorial mode (EQ) with the TH10 tripod head and the TC20 tripod (included with the Seestar S50), please be aware that the devices may collide with the tripod legs at certain angles. Therefore, this setup is not recommended for regions with latitudes below 15°.

Compact and Portable

The Seestar TH10 is a compact fluid tripod head, measuring only 84 mm in height and weighing just 411 g. The base diameter is 50 mm. The CNC-machined aluminum alloy head offers a premium feel and long-lasting durability while remaining incredibly lightweight. It's perfectly suited for use with the Seestar Smart Telescope in equatorial mode.

Hydraulic Damping System
Thanks to the ergonomic hydraulic damping system, polar alignment of the Seestar TH10 tripod head is easier than you might expect.

With just a slight movement, you can easily adjust the pan and tilt scales, making it perfect for beginners!

Wide Range of Shooting Angles
The Seestar TH10 tripod head supports 360° panning and -90° to 90° tilt angles, offering moderate damping for smooth adjustments and stable control. When used with the Seestar, you can quickly calibrate angles using the scale and switch to equatorial mode with a single click in the app. The intuitive knobs ensure secure locking and allow for effortless multi-angle shooting.

Wide Compatibility

The Seestar TH10 tripod head features a standard 1/4" screw on top, compatible with most DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and more. It also includes a 3/8" screw adapter, making it a perfect fit for the Seestar series.
