iOptron iPolar electronic polar finder with USB cable - basic version

The iOptron iPolar replaces the polar finder and guarantees the most precise alignment of your mount.

iOptron iPolar - Electronic Polar Finder

The electronic polar finder replaces the optical polar finder. The image is created via a small lens that projects the celestial region onto a fast CMOS sensor. Intelligent software then analyzes this image and displays the polar region, for example, on your laptop or PC screen.

The polar finder also works if you can't yet visually see Polaris or Sigma Octantis (Southern Hemisphere), for example, at dusk. Of course, the view of the north or south celestial pole must be clear.

Unlike the optical polar finder, you don't need to rotate the mount to position the polar finder correctly; the software does that for you.
