iOptron's PowerWeight™ rechargeable battery pack for the counterweight bar was specifically developed for the iEQ series. Instead of a traditional counterweight or as additional weight, this power supply can be used without the hassle of messy cables underneath the mount. Inside are special high-capacity (VRLA) batteries housed in a rugged case and connected to the mount with a short power cable. With 8 Ah, the mount can comfortably power through a night of observation.
