The high-quality SynScan WLAN adapter module is compatible with all Skywatcher GoTo mounts and telescopes and allows convenient, wireless control of your smartphone or tablet using the SynScan or SynScan Pro app, available for free via Google Play or the Apple App Store, as well as in the " Download "Download area.

The WLAN adapter can be easily connected to the connection for hand control boxes on the mount with the supplied adapter cables (RJ12 to RJ45 and RJ45 to RJ45). No batteries are needed as the required supply voltage is provided by the mount. (The EQ6 Pro mount is connected with the original cable supplied with the mount).

The WLAN adapter creates its own WLAN network, so that the mount can be used anywhere without the need of a foreign WLAN network. Once you have entered the coordinates of your location in the SynScan app and performed a simple alignment procedure, you are immediately ready to use the app's intuitive touchscreen menus.

The SynScan apps support the SkySafari Plus / Pro Mobile Planetarium app for Android and Apple iOS. (Please note that you need two devices for Apple iOS at the same time). Both the SynScan app and the SynScan Pro app support ASCOM for tracking, GoTo and Guiding. The necessary ASCOM telescope driver can also be downloaded from our website under "Downloads".
