This drive motor can be mounted on any Sky-Watcher telescope equipped with an EQ1 mount. It enables motor tracking with 1x / 2x and 4x speed in the right axis. It is powered by a battery.

Astrophotography:

Due to the precise tracking and the possible change of the speed via the hand control box, astrophotography with the mount EQ-1 is possible. For the moon, planets and sun (ALWAYS ONLY WITH APPROPRIATE FILTER!) Very well suited.
Use on Deep Sky (galaxies, nebulae, star clusters) for short focal lengths and overview shots.
