The extension is made of solid aluminum. A 3/8" female thread is available on the base and a 3/8" male thread is available on the top. By combining the three extensions, different heights can be achieved. This makes it easier to swivel longer camera lenses through or allows for more comfortable working heights without Tripod conversion.
