The Acuter Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 is a safe solar telescope that is equipped with a 40mm etalon filter on the front. It allows observation of active solar prominences and other solar details in the H-alpha band with a power of 0.6 angstroms or better.

When viewing the Sun in the narrow H-Alpha band, the observer is rewarded with exciting, awe-inspiring real-time views of our nearest star in its full fiery majesty, bubbling with activity and revealing exciting details such as solar flares, prominences, spicules, surface graininess, sunspots and more!

The telescope comes with a universal cell phone camera adapter so you can take photos with your cell phone and record your observations photographically.

The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 complies with and meets the requirements of ISO 12312-2:2015 (filters for direct observation of the sun).
