50mm H-Alpha solar filter system with B1200 blocking filter, for front mounting on telescopes with 1.25'' focuser and up to 1080mm focal length.

The LS50FHa H-Alpha Etalon solar filter system with 50mm clear aperture (no central obstruction) for use on any refractor and most other telescopes. Because the LS50FHa has a half-width of approximately <0.75 Angstroms, it is able to provide good contrast, both when observing the solar surface and protuberances at the edge.
The system includes the B1200 blocking filter, which is designed for telescopes with a focal length of up to 1080mm. The optionally available larger blocking filters are suitable for larger focal lengths. The blocking filter is built into a 90° diagonal mirror for 1.25'' focusers. This star diagonal mirror is equipped with a mount for 1.25'' eyepieces and a T2 camera connection.

By adding an optionally available double-stack etalon system, the half-width can be reduced to approximately <0.55 angstrom.
