50mm H-Alpha solar filter system with B3400 blocking filter, for front mounting on telescopes with 2" focuser and up to 3060mm focal length.

The LS50FHa H-Alpha Etalon solar filter system with 50mm clear aperture (no central obstruction) for use on any refractor and most other telescopes. Because the LS50FHa has a half-width of approximately <0.75 Angstroms, it is able to provide good contrast, both when observing the solar surface and protuberances at the edge.
The system includes the B3400 blocking filter, which is designed for telescopes up to 3060mm focal length. The blocking filter is installed in a straight extension sleeve for 2" focusers. This extension sleeve is equipped with a holder for 2" eyepieces and an adapter for 1.25" eyepieces.

By adding an optionally available double-stack etalon system, the half-width can be reduced to approximately <0.55 angstrom.
