TS-Optics 2" energy protection filter

This filter is an auxiliary filter for H-Alpha approaches such as Quark Chromosphere that rejects energy and extends the life of your Daystar Quark filter.

It can be used on 5" or smaller refractors.

Why add an ERF?

The filters of the H-Alpha approach can heat up, which reduces their service life. With this ERF filter you can protect both the filter and the filter holder from high temperatures.

And don't worry about the ERF itself, it uses B270 optical glass and a multi-coating so it reflects rather than absorbs most of the energy.

Does it have other uses?

Yes, this ERF filter can also be used for moon shots. It delivers an even brighter image than an IR685 filter while reducing the effect of seeing.
