The Baader SkySurfer 3 was designed for astronomical applications and is not merely a modified laser pointer.
♦ 30 mm clear aperture for a wider field of view
♦ Long dew shields in front of and behind the optics to prevent fogging
♦ The 1:1 objective lens is anti-reflective coated and darkens the sky less than comparable finders
♦ Adjustable brightness for the red dot
♦ Two-part housing doubles as a solar finder
♦ Extensive adapter kit included; can even be used with DSLR cameras via an optional adapter (see accessory recommendations)
