IDAS NBZ-Di UHS filter set for RASA 8 including filter holder

Narrowband filters increase contrast by only allowing a specific wavelength range of light around the spectral lines of hydrogen (H-a, 656 nm), oxygen (OIII, 501 nm), sulfur (SII, 672 nm), etc. These filters can be used for photography at any time, even when the moon is in the sky, or as a filter against light pollution in a large city. The length of the exposure time is irrelevant – even long-exposure photography is possible.

This set is specifically designed for Celestron's extremely fast RASA 8 astrographs. It consists of an IDAS NBZ-Di filter, which exhibits excellent photographic performance at an aperture ratio between f/1.8 and f/2.8. A corresponding filter slider/adapter is also included, making it easy to mount on the RASA 8's Schmidt plate.

Other IDAS Di filters can also be used.
