Since its introduction, the Star Adventurer has set the standard for lightweight and portable astrophotography travel mounts. Now, with the Star Adventurer GTi, we're taking the next step toward a fully GoTo-controlled, compact travel mount.

The superb new Star Adventurer GTi features a built-in, illuminated polar scope for precise polar alignment. It includes a USB interface, an autoguider connection, and can optionally be operated via a hand controller. Furthermore, it has a trigger socket for a DSLR camera, which can be programmed using the Sky-Watcher SynScan Pro app for iOS and Android. For use near the equator, the counterweight shaft can be attached to a second threaded socket. The mount can be fully controlled via smartphone or tablet using the SynScan app via the built-in Wi-Fi.

With the GoTo function and adjustable tracking speeds for the Moon, Sun, and sidereals, you have every opportunity to explore and photograph the night sky.

With a payload capacity of up to 5 kg, the Star Adventurer GTi is ideally suited for mounting your well-equipped DSLR or mirrorless camera with a wide-angle or telephoto lens and all accessories, or even a smaller telescope with an astro-camera. Visual observation is also possible using a telescope attached to the Vixen-standard dovetail clamp.

The new Star Adventurer GTi is the perfect solution for all astrophotographers seeking the ultimate combination of high performance and easy portability.

This version includes an extension column and a tripod, but you can also use any sturdy photo tripod.
