The ideal, uncomplicated mount to always have with you, perfectly suited for both convenient and easy visual astronomical observation and daytime terrestrial observations!

The AZ5 Deluxe altazimuth mount is made of solid die-cast aluminum and supports smaller telescopes weighing up to 5 kg, which can be easily attached using a Vixen/Skywatcher standard dovetail rail. You can also use other telescopes with an optional L-bracket. The AZ5 comes with an aluminum tripod that can be locked at any height and a short extension column. Two flexible shafts for operating the fine adjustments are also included. Alternatively, you can move the mount manually along any axis for quick panning in both horizontal and vertical directions.
