Losmandy mount AZ8 with tripod

Adjust the desired object quickly and intuitively using the variable slip clutch. The fine adjustment and tracking of both axes can then be carried out using a precision mechanical gearbox in Losmandy quality: needle bearings and worm wheel with a 7cm diameter and 180 teeth, a brass worm shaft with ball bearings at both ends.

Other advantages:

    The alignment can be read precisely from the laser engraved partial circles.
    The two saddle plates accept prism rails according to both Losmandy and Vixen standards.
    An optional half column is available to raise the mount by 15cm.

Excellent for solar observation, for example: With the Losmandy AZ8 you can operate one optic with white light and a second with H-alpha filter in parallel. But also for photography of bright objects: moon, sun, earth observation. Equip one optic with a camera and the second parallel optic with an eyepiece for visual observation.
