Skywatcher's clever and innovative SolarQuest ™ mount is extremely user-friendly and makes sun tracking with a solar telescope particularly easy by automatically tracking and tracking the sun.

Just stand the tripod in a fairly straight line and point the sun telescope out to the left of the sun, Skywatcher's revolutionary HelioFind ™ solar observation technology will do the rest! By pressing only one button, the telescope is leveled and the mount calculates altitude and azimuth of the sun with the help of GPS data, based on local time and site. The telescope is then driven to the required height and the mount begins to search for the sun in a clockwise direction. The sun sensor detects the sun and ensures that it remains in the field of view of the eyepiece.

The SolarQuest ™ Mount can be used by educational institutions, beginners and experienced observers alike. If you have your telescope mounted on the mount, this mount is a great helper for observing sunspots, solar eclipses, surface details on the sun, and transits from the inner planets to the sun.

The lightweight and portable SolarQuest ™ mount is quiet and has a payload capacity of up to 4 kg. Telescopes can be mounted with a standard Skywatcher / Vixen standard prism rail.

ATTENTION: The SolarQuest ™ mount has been designed for the use of solar telescopes only. Do not aim any other optical device at the sun. Looking at the sun without a safe, professionally made sunscreen will cause immediate, permanent damage to the eyes as well as the telescope and also pose a fire hazard.
