AZ-3 - azimuthal mount with fine adjustment and tripod

You can align your up to 5KG heavy equipment on this mount in two axes with a fine adjustment (smooth flexible waves) to your target object and track even with not too fast movement. A bird is as good to track as a ship or an object in the sky. The earth's rotation can compensate them sensitively and relax astronomical goals in the field of vision. So you can also zoom in without having to follow the object jerkily.
A telescope is mounted with pipe clamps.

A sturdy lightweight aluminum tripod - height adjustable from 71cm to 123cm - is included. Carrying capacity up to approx. 5kg dead weight, the AZ-3 itself weighs 3.9kg including the status.

You can make a full 360 degree turn in the horizontal plane and almost to the zenith in height.

A camera, a spotting scope, telephoto lens needs a photo attachment for attachment to the AZ-3, which is available as an optional accessory.

This mount is best suited for our smaller refractors, with which you can enjoy sky, nature and wildlife viewing AND are suitable and designed as a telephoto lens for easy and good shots. Please take a look under our heading "Refractors".

The mount AZ3 has a flexible support plate, here telescopes are fixed with pipe clamps. However, spotting scopes or cameras have a 1/4 "tripod connection.

The AZ3 photo attachment is the connection of the support plate with the required photo connection. The two supplied screws (see picture) are simply attached to the AZ-3. From this time, you can attach your devices with a photo connection without tools.

The AZ-3 is to be used as a very stable photo tripod with sensitive adjustment.
