Place your telescope up to 8 inches in diameter on the existing GP rail and navigate via smartphone app to almost any celestial object.



Push + represents a so-called "Rockerbox" for Dobsonian telescopes. Dobsonian telescopes are a brilliant invention because of their simple, solid construction. Smartphone: your way to the stars
With your Android smartphone, you hold all the strings in your own hands. With the astronomy app Sky Safari® 4 Plus for Android, your phone becomes the control center for the telescope. On your colored display you can see the current starry sky, find your objects and move the telescope in no time to the destination. As you push the telescope in the right direction, you see a crosshair move across the star map.


It's easy with the right app

SkySafari® 4 Plus is available for a fee at Google Playstore. Push + does not work for Apple iPhones or iPads (iOS operating system) - a separate version is expected in 2017.


Is there a way without a smartphone? Yes, there is! The software Stellarium® or Cartes du Ciel®. Just install one of these free programs on your laptop and you're ready to go wireless to the stars. No matter whether smartphone or PC: Contact the telescope via a Bluetooth 2.0 connection.


GP Recording

The Rockerbox has a Vixen style mount for GP rails. This means you can connect most telescopes to the Rockerbox with rail and benefit from the Push + system. This works best with Newton mirror telescopes up to 8 inches in diameter.
