EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Twilight I azimuthal telescope mount with tripod
The new Explore Scientific Twilight I AZ Telescope Mount is designed to provide quick and easy operation. Thus, small to medium refractors, such as an AR-102 + AR-127s, ED APO 102mm + 127mm and of course all smaller devices such as the AR-90s / 500 or ED APO 80mm can be easily used. Of course, very light and short Newton telescopes are also suitable as long as they do not exceed a tube weight of around 8 kg and have a 44mm GP adapter rail.
The Twilight I AZ mounting head is made of die-cast aluminum and is powder-coated in white. Both axles have precise worm gears, which can be adjusted very sensitively with the help of the flexible shafts. The mounting head can be individually adjusted in inclination. The adjustment range is approx. +/- 45 °. This allows the optimal adjustment of the movement clearance for your optical tube and offers the best possible observation comfort even near the zenith. The Allen key for adjusting the mounting head is securely held by an integrated magnet holder and is therefore always at hand.
The sturdy and height-adjustable field tripod made of stainless steel, is the ideal basis for the Twilight I mount.
