Products description
Skywatcher Rockerbox for Skyliner 200P Classic Dobson
The Dobsonian telescope sits on a so-called Rockerbox, which offers a stable, wobble-free substructure. Since the tube is screwed to the rockerbox (mount), this is one of the most stable dobsonics available. In other Dobson the tube is hung in the Rockerbox or hung up.
The desired sky objects can be visited by pushing on the tube. The tripod plate runs on plain bearings and the telescope can be rotated by the side handles in the desired direction (azimuth). At the same time you can control the movement in the angular orientation (height) and clamp it.
At the Rockbox there is a storage facility for eyepieces.
